A note from Jeffery Dee

N49 Technologies is a Canadian technology group founded by Jeffery Dee after more than three decades in technology.

Technology has never been just a job for me. I care about the work, and I care about the people doing it.

After leaving IBM, I took time to look closely at the technology industry I had spent my career in. Too many businesses were paying premium prices for services delivered with little senior oversight. Customers were being buried in jargon, contracts, and recommendations they could not easily evaluate.

At the same time, talented junior technicians were being placed in difficult situations without the guidance, mentorship, or support they needed to succeed. Many entered the industry because they loved technology, only to burn out before they had the opportunity to become exceptional at it.

I founded N49 Technologies to build something better for both sides of that relationship.

Our businesses are built around practical expertise, clear communication, accountable work, and a genuine commitment to the people we serve. We take ownership of the problem, explain what matters, and stay engaged through the outcome, not just the sale.

More than thirty years into my career, I am still learning every day. The part of this work I am proudest of is helping the next generation of technologists develop into the professionals this industry desperately needs.
